The elections for student body president and vice president will be held today, all day, via online voting here.
“Our elections mirror democratic practice so that we can hear your voice. If you don’t vote, your voice won’t be heard. Practice good civic engagement and vote in the student body presidential elections,” says current student body Vice President Matthew McLeod-Warrick.
Junior Elliot Matthiesen, current student senator, is running for student body vice president alongside junior Sarah Ungerleider, running for student body president.
“Much of our platform is based on student input and participation. As Principia goes through pivotal changes, we want to support you in voicing your opinions and ideas. Student input is needed now more than ever. We want to give you the tools you need to inspire real change. We are looking forward to giving back to this amazing community, which has given so much to us. Help us help you create a better Principia,” says Matthiesen.
Through the same link, students can vote for nominees for teacher of the year.
“The teacher of the year award helps us celebrate exemplary work being done by our faculty. Go vote for teachers that inspire you, so that we as a campus can celebrate their great work,” says Matthiesen.
