Friday, October 2nd, 2009The Sunday before classes began, nearly one hundred student government leaders gathered for the Leadershop. Executive Officer Peter Stevens spoke on the founding of Principia, and we were all inspired to learn of the total dedication to Christian Science demonstrated by Mary Kimball Morgan and other pioneers of Principia. We are excited to recommit to this purpose.

As you have been busy winding down your winter quarter, we have been wrapping up our term as Student Body Presidents. It seems like hardly any time has passed since we wrote our first installment in the Pilot, but looking back at all that has occurred while we have been in office helps us realize what an exciting year it has been. We have both seen tremendous growth in ourselves and have been honored to serve as your representatives.

Friday, February 6th, 2009We hope this letter finds you ready to enjoy your well-deserved W6 next week. As you should know, the Student Government election process is well underway. We have already had a chance to hear each candidate’s platform and hope you all are starting to make up your minds in preparation for the online elections taking place February 10-12. Keep an eye out for more information on how to vote. The final event in our election process, or what some would call the “Principia Inauguration,” is the fondue banquet, which you all are invited to, taking place Wednesday of Week 7, February 18 at 9 PM in the dining room.
