Community members gathered together to break ground on a new garden on October 24. After the soil was aerated, a layer of cardboard was laid down. Next, students and faculty spread compost followed by mulch. Finally, the day of hard work was topped off with a homemade vegan dinner.

The Principia campus is full of hidden treasures. Reds, greens, yellows, and blues can be found all around. Whether you prefer to relax by lying in a hammock or by taking a walk, there will always be beauty waiting for you. Here’s some color to hold onto as winter slowly approaches!

Sundays are always better when there is an activity on campus. Fortunately, Men’s Intramurals provides an activity for everyone to take an hour study break. Rotating between soccer and football, the men fight for their house as they compete in friendly matches. This past weekend, there were two games. Welcome to a weekend at Principia! One Saturday night, junior Philip Riley performsed at the mic with his band, Casual Friday. The group opened for the main act of the evening, ZIV. These bands rocked the Cox patio harder than ever before. Meanwhile, a few freshmen stayed inside and watched videos online. The next day, Anderson House hosted a great end- of-summer barbecue.
