Welcome to the online Principia Pilot, the award-winning student-run newspaper of Principia College in Elsah, IL. Our news team brings you the finest in campus news, opinion, sports and trends every other week.
The Pilot is published in a magazine format three times a semester.
The Pilot first appeared in 1944, and was printed on a press located on campus. The print versions evolved and expanded over the years, and we are now publishing full color magazines with content varying between news, opinion, visual, and more. Today we employ more than 15 writers covering hard news, features, and campus opinion, a small team of designers who keep the Pilot’s design fresh and arresting, and a team of photographers capturing campus events and life every day.
